When a lot needs replacing
When failures are everywhere, patching stops paying off. We remove the old asphalt and pave 3 or 4 inches of new hot mix in two compacted lifts.
If the ground is soft, we strip it, compact the subgrade and install 21A crushed stone, compacted with a roller and plate compactor. That base work is quoted separately before we start.
